It is the sequel to "Give My Regards to Black Jack."
It was irregularly transferred from Weekly Morning (Kodansha) to Big Comic Spirits (Shogakukan).
The series has been suspended for more than a year after the end of "Psychiatric edition." The author moved to Shogakukan "Big Comic Spirits" and resumed a new edition, "Transplant edition," being renamed to "New Give My Regards to Black Jack" from No. 8 in 2007.
The series was published weekly for a few months, but after that biweekly. And the end of the series was at No.33 in 2010.
